HS 500/A Slasher-Merchandiser

There are valuable saw-logs hidden in your pulpwood decks and the Hahn HS 500/A lets you recover them quickly and economically

The Hahn HS 500/A is a self-contained, mobile, log merchandiser designed to cut and sort high valued saw-log material from tree-length stems. Its features include a "live-roller" infeed decd, four retractable and one fixed length gate, a 60" insert tooth cut-off saw, and a sorter capable of separating long and short logs.

Trees can be run through one at a time or in multiples. As they pass through the machine, the stems are evaluated by the operator, measured, cut-to-length, and ejected out onto the ground or accumulated in collector arms, while the remainder is rolled back out and placed in a pulpwood pile.

The Hahn HS 500/A is available in both self-propelled and trailer versions and can be ordered with or without a self-loader.
